Busy Month

So it has been a super busy past month or so. I finished Summer school, still don't know my grades yet. Did my 1st outdoor race, went to Buttonwillow, and then the Hella Flush VI BBQ. The race went pretty well considering it was my first time and I was 70lbs overweight. Went into the day with a best of a 33.7 and left with a 31.5 so I am very happy with that. My boss at Gokart Racer helped me modify the frame recently so that I can actually fit leg room wise in the kart. I can't wait to get back out there again. The Buttonwillow event was the 2nd City Tech Track day I got to help run with Patrick and King. I really enjoyed grip driving that track and it was the 1st event I was able to get my Dad to go too, and he loved it. I let him and my girlfriend Jess drive the Lexus. I ended up with a low 2'17" which I think was pretty good considering its a 3600lb car with a 190whp. I know I can still make up some more time, granted I have matching compound tires and better brakes. The Hella Flush VI BBQ was at Coyote Point and it was really fun. My car and Jess' bug got a lot of attention it seemed. Free NOS energy drinks + Scott's BBQing was awesome. Enough talk though, here are some pictures.
