The Season Ending

Hey Everyone,

So today marked the final round of Thunder Drift ProAm. The course we drifted today was an awesome layout, even for an unpowered / heavy car like my Lexus. I had scored my highest qualify points total yet, which was 66 out of 100 possible, which was enough to put me in 9th place in the Tandem brackets for Top 16. I was matched up against Adam Swan in his SR20DET powered S13 hatch. Adam led the first run and due to my incosistent front coilover I was not pleased with my follow run. Then it came my time to lead and even then I was not super thrilled, but I had gapped Adam some and he too did not like his follow run. We both figured it would go into a OMT (one more time), but the judges announced Adam as the driver that advances. In the end I know what I did wrong and I am happy Adam advanced.

My teammate and good friend Lexis King (White FC3S RX7) qualified 10th place and would be going against points contender Gabe Stone in his Blu808 LSX powered Camaro. After various OMT's, Stone was out and Lexis advanced. He was then up against Josh Kravitz in his old school Datsun 510 powered by a supercharged KA 240sx engine. Also once again Lex advances forward into the Final 4! This then put him up against Julian Jacobs in another SR powered 240sx. If you haven't guessed it by now, he advanced once again. This would guarantee him at least 2nd place. The final Tandem battle was between Adam Swan (Who beat me in the Top 16) and Lex! In the end Adam Swan took 1st place, but I am thrilled at Lex's performance and his first podium in this series.

Congrats buddy:
