Progress

So I have been changing setups around on the Lexus. I realize I love drifting, but it is to hard to focus solely on that. I am just slowly going to build the car and do both grip and drift days to keep improving in both areas. I am no longer going for the super slammed look. I have the car set at a very nice ride height in which it still looks good and I can drive the shit out of it without bottoming out around certain turns. I am currently testing a 255/35 setup up front and I am liking it a lot. Once $$ starts flowing again I will be making this my grip setup and will still use them up front for drifting since I have the cobra wheels to drift on. Jeff Westphal, a good friend of mine and professional race car driver has been helping me develop the car and my driving skills. I have a long way to go, but it is a fun process. Tomorrow I will hopefully get to fiberglass my front and fix it. Also I am car-sitting my friends S14 currently and have to change the outer tie rods. That is also on my list for tomorrow. Hopefully I will have some pictures to post up tomorrow.

Super Busy....

So I have been super busy with school, work, karting, and just plain doing stuff. I will be posting more car and kart related stuff later this week as I get more free time. I have a race coming up this weekend that I am looking forward too, but I know I am gonna be way off pace, but it will be a nice wakeup call as to where I stand. Started a web comic with a good friend of mine, which will be up and going soon hopefully. Stuff to come for the Lexus: Oil cooler, oil psi / temp gauges, lower ride height, better tires, better pads, and hopefully a repaired fiberglass front.
