Cleaning Time

So it was a nice chill day and my friend Lorenze came over and we cleaned the Lexus and his Toyota MR2 ( How I miss mine :( ). He did a full interior detail on my car which it had been needing badly, but I showed him the wonders of metal polish and he cleaned up his exhaust tips and wheel lips. Also took the time to finally see if the Marlin Crawler shifter bushings for an SC300 would work on my car, but alas only the small one worked, but hey one is better then none. Got fiberglass material from work and when I get time this week I am gonna take a crack at repairing the cracks in my front bumper. Need to get off my ass and post some stuff up for sale too. Well here are some pictures.....oh and my neighbor has a red GT-R and I got to sit in it and check out the interior.....very well done....very well done indeed.

True Inspiration!

So going through the MY.IS// forums once again I stopped in the Race Related section to see someone posting Sagisaka's Altezza D1 build....holy crap is all I have to say. My goal know is to become the American version of him and his car. The orange is really appealing to me, which makes me further want to go through with having City Tech SF paint my car GT3RS orange as the shop owner did to his 350Z. After looking this thread over and seeing how much I love that car, I am highly motivated to do some clean up stuff to my car, so with that I will got to bed and prepare to work on my IS300 tomorrow morning. Here are some pictures of his beautiful car.

Some inspiration

So I was doing my usual thing of going through MY.IS// and checking into peoples builds and ideas. I came across the clean Black Onyx as posted below and I keep falling in love with the red overlay on the tails. I think I am going to do it to my GGP IS300, but some say it looks like a civic tail light at that point, but I disagree in the since I would still retain the IS300 inner circle lights on the trunk. Also found another guys thread on his suspension overhaul, something I am slowly getting in order. I need to find time this week to remove my broken plastic underpanel and start mocking up metal panels for the whole underside and maybe try making some brake ducting.

So it begins anew....

So I am back to blogging, but this time I am going to be religious about it. So I am a big gear head and Motorsports enthusiast. I take part in both drifting and track days in my 2003 Lexus IS300 and also started outdoor karting this year with my girlfriend Jess who races Yamaha KT100 on a Top Kart chassis. I am racing an 80cc Shifter with a Birel chassis. I love driving and learning new techniques for both cars and karting and take it upon myself to learn how to work on and repair these vehicles. I am also currently going to school to become an Industrial Designer and change the automotive world, but enough about that. Time for some pictures!
